The online version of BIO156 is a standardized course, meaning that the content was developed by a lead instructor for BIO156 (not by me), and all sections of the online version, regardless of instructor, use the same, standardized version. That standardized version includes all of the content necessary for successfully completing all of the graded assignments, and that standardized content should be considered as the required content. You MUST use the required content, and it is perfectly fine if you use ONLY the required content. However, since I have been recording all of my face-to-face lectures for years, I want to offer you these additional lectures and slide shows AS AN OPTIONAL SOURCE OF STUDY MATERIAL.
